Can You Contend With Shortages?

Can you contend with shortages? If you supplied with all the necessities of life for a year, you might answer 'yes'. But do you have enough money and space for a year's supply?

What if you do have enough. Can you protect it against criminals or just plain hungry people who need food? Can you protect what you've got from the police? What about from roving gangs? What about a street full of hungry neighbors?

The answer is that you will not be able to do so. All the saving, the storing and the cost of the food would go to those who have the power to take it from you. Sure, you might have guns, but how can you protect what you have when you have to go out of the house? What happens when you go to work, go shopping or visiting a family member?

If the police raid your place – for whatever reason – what are you gong to do with 15 SWAT police members there?

If the situation gets so bad that there is little food in the area, and you look like you are well fed but your neighbors are thin and hungry. It takes very little common sense for them to know you have plenty of food somewhere. How will you defend yourself then?

When people travel in groups like locusts looking for food, they will eventually go to the rural areas (where you thought you'd be safe) and they will take what they want.

How can you really be safe anywhere in a country where there is famine and a breakdown in civilization. You can't. So, what is the solution?

You have to move to a country that isn't experiencing such problems. Only when your neighbors have enough food would you be safe. And if you look at the fall of the dollar, the lack of production in the US, there is trouble. When you have a nation where its so far in debt that other nations are not going to lend to it any more and wants payment on what they are lent out – that spells huge problems for the farmers. No food is being produced and no food is being imported.

I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like I'm not. So, the only way to really prepare is to move abroad.

The nation might be poorer, but if they can at least feed itself, that means you can feed yourself, too.

Are you really prepared for an economic crash? Some may say 'yes' because they say they have stored 6 months of food, have extra batteries, garden equipment and even weapons to defend themselves. But you need more than that.

If you have all the things that are the necessities of life but if you live in a country where there is almost unlimited police power, you are not prepared.

The police tell you to pack up and move to a re-location camp if they are told to do so. A 're-location camp' is nothing more than a communist gulag camp.

If the police are told to take all extra supplies away, they'll do that. Now, where would that put you? You can't fight a whole army. If it's a problem with gangs, you can't fight 20 member gang who are all armed looking for food, can you?

And for this reason, that is why people have moved out of the country. Many have moved to South American countries. One of them is Ecuador.

I suggest that you look closer at Ecuador and there is plenty of food, smaller farmers and a political stable country. When things don't go right the people demonstrate and even had bad Presidents thrown out of the country.

If you live in America in the rural area, you are still not safe. The simple reason is, the Federal Government still has jurisdiction there. The police can get just about anywhere in a short time. So, if the state comes under marshal law, it will reach you, too. BUT if you live in some South American country, you are better off.

Most people say they can't afford to move. It's sad because when you have a belief that you can't do something, you will fulfil that belief. If you belief that you CAN do something, you find out that you can. Therefore, your mind makes sure you can or you can't so something. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy thing.

Well, enough for philosophising.

If you have a home that is paid off, you can afford to move. If you have a home that is, say, half paid for, you can afford to move.

Have you compared the prices of home in America to that of, say, Ecuador? The average home in America is about $250,000. And that home is probably a 'cookie-press' home. In Ecuador, you can buy a family home of 200 sq. meters for about $160,000!

It was reported in the Daily Mail (paraphrasing) about burglars using Facebook and Twitter to obtain information from people and later robbing them.

In the survey, they found that many people join another’s social networking site, gain their confidence and find out as much information about them. The most gullible are those between the ages of 18 and 25. They obtain their name and other vital information then keep watch on their site to see when they will be out of the house for work or on vacation. Then the burglars break in and rob them.

Insurance companies want to increase premium for families that have a social networking site.

My comment: If you have children it’s hard to control what they say on their Facebook, Twitter or other social networking site. But it is advised to tell them not to give out even their last name, and not to tell when they will be out of the house or on vacation. Even just giving out their last name and town, the buglers will have enough information to see what their address is by finding it on the computer.

Another old warning

If you get an email that claims to be from your bank and they ask you for any banking information, don’t give it to them - no matter how good the reason may be. It could very easily be from a criminal who wants banking detail to steal money from your account. It has recently been reported that 52 million pounds a year is stolen this way in the UK.

How to fight back

From the obvious first, don’t log on to this government site.

While you might not be able to prevent the government from confiscating your computer, you should at least take precaution so they don’t steal your files. One of the first places that the US government will confiscate your computer is when you travel through the airport, you should take the following precautions.

Make copies on DVD and CD
Store in some safe and hidden place in your home
Store another copy at a friend or family’s home
Put your original programs disks in a safe place
Have an external hard drive with all your programs on it
When traveling, have your memory stick in another place

What some people have done is, they have personal home owner’s insurance and tell the insurance company that they were robbed. The people who do this feel that the insurance companies are in league with the government so let them pay for it.

Today in the Daily Mail was an article about someone who went to meet some guy to buy a car. He brought along £5,000. At the meeting site he was stabbed seven times, including one time in the heart. The scum bags stolen his money of course. Luckily he survived.

Scotland Yard today issued a warning to people who use classified internet sites and said the number of robberies involving criminals as sellers was on the rise.

Other incidents have involved thefts from people going to buy mopeds, laptops and iPods.
The Gumtree website offers safety advice to people saying they should meet people in public places and take someone else along.

Ms O'Connor also advised people not to carry large sums of cash. She said: 'Do not go to the meeting point alone.

One very popular site is called Craig’s List as a classified site. Criminals are finding new ways of stealing from you. And when they ad a price that looks like a good deal, it’s tempting for people not to go to a site and meet them.

Lottery scams are on the Internet, too. I read a story that happened a couple of years ago about a man who lives in England was contacted by someone in Spain saying that he won 2 million pounds. The woman said that if he wants his winnings sent to him he would have to pay for it to be notarized by a Spanish notary and pay for insured delivery. The total cost would be 250 pounds. And that he could pay by credit card.

The way this works is, that they take your money and they use your card details to try to buy other things. Naturally, there is no lottery winnings.

Many times you see banners on websites that says you are the one million viewer and you are entitled to a prize. Well, don’t fall for it - it might be legit but chances are it’s not. There has been many times that I was ‘the 1,000,000 winner’. now what are the chances of that happen to the same person - like, one in a million! It probably has happened to you, too.

Criminals thrive on the gullible, the elderly and the greedy. If they get their message out to enough people, they have a lot of victims to steal from.

The Time to Start Your Business is NOW!

Many people have a job now and say that they don’t have time to start an internet business. You might be one of them. However, people who are working either:

Your first step today is to set down what you really want in life. What business do you want to start. Write down where you want to be one year from now. Then work back to what you need to accomplish 11 months from now, 10 months from now and so forth.

Then for the current month, what you have to do each week until you reach this week. When you reach this week, write down what you have to do each day, starting with today to reach you first week goal.

You should have more than one goal such as:

This is the first issue of the Internet Time Saver. So, welcome aboard!

I will do my very best of bringing you the best that I’ve found.

Now, if you have no interest in improving any areas of our life, then this is not the place for you. If you have done this on your own, then congratulations - few people make it. But to see if you really improved all areas of your life, check it against what I will be posting here.

I can’t post everything in one day as it takes time for other topics to show up. Like I said, I only spend about 4 hours a day on the internet. Why? I want to enjoy life, too. I’m living my dream and that is what I want you to do, too.

First, what you’ll see posted here is some news and some comments on it (where necessary). Why I feel this is so important is, that there are many people, even very rich people, who don’t know about what is going on around them. Oh, they read their financial investment reports and they might pick up The Wall Street Journal, and read the water-downed version, but they don’t get news that will really affect them, their families, their finances, their health and their nation.

If you are a reader of the major media you’ll find that most of them will paint a rosy picture for you. You will only get the truth from them when it become obvious to the person on the street.

Just keep this in mind for right now. Mark it in your daily journal and see who will be right - the media or Internet Time Saver. What that is, that the major media service paints a picture that things are turning around, that we are coming out of the recession.

What do I say?

A Depression is Coming!

Yes, a Depression which will be worse than the one in the 1930s, but don’t despair. You’ll soon see that the Internet Time Saver will find a bright side of everything. Things that you can do to protect yourself.

When will this be?

Now, it’s August, 2009, and you can check this by looking at the date that this blog server posts. I predict that it will occur in late October, 2009.

You might shake your head and say that I’m crazy, but come back (if you don’t want to stick around now) and see if I’m right.

Remember the old saying, ‘There’s a silver lining behind every cloud.’ And that is what I hope to bring you.

As Ret Bulter said to Scarlet in Gone With the Wind, he said, “You know Scarlet, there are people who make money when a civilization is being built and there are those who make momey when a civilization is being destroyed.

You can be sure that the same is true today. It was back in the 1930s and it will be the same now.

What the Internet Time Saver will do is, show you how you can profit.

There is nothing immoral about making money when most are losing money. We did not create this situation, so don’t feel guilty. And the only way you can help your loved ones is by becoming wealthy. Then, by your money you can help those you love. If you are poor how can you help them?

I will cover the ‘ordinary news’ only to the point where I will mention just a little more than the title. Then it will be left up to you to decide if you want to spend your time reading it. Otherwise, I’ll just make a short comment on it.

It’s a great way to get a pulse of what is going on without having to spend time reading.

I got an email from Tony Robbins today. I’m sure you’ve heard about him and perhaps have bought some of his tapes and books. Well, on his blog there is a great interview he made with two gurus of internet marketing. One is John Reese and the other is Kurt Frank.

John Reese was the first person to make $1 million in one day on the Internet! Tony asks the two what metal changes they made in order to get from being poor to being multi-millionaires today.

In the Daily Mail in the UK (website: www.dailymail.co.uk ) is an article about a girl that won nearly £2 million when she was 16 years old. She was the second youngest person to win in the UK. Now she is broke and in debt.

Normally this will be a story you could do without. However, it shows anyone with common sense of what not to do. I think it’s important to talk about it a little here, because there are some readers who come here thinking, ‘If I only had money my life would be much better.’ well the fact is, money will not make your life better or it won’t make it worse, it will only bring out more of what is in you now.

If you hang out with the wrong people, your get into more trouble, it’ll be on a bigger scale but you’ll be in trouble, as this girl proved. If you have moral values in life, then life will be better for you.

In many issues of Internet Time Saver, I’ll post links to interesting sites that I think will be of interest to you. And I’ll make a short comment on why I think so. You might have already book marked them or it might be new to you.
